Откупните компании во регионот на Василево досега имаат купено 150 тони тутун по просечна цена од 210 денари по килограм.

– Задоволни сем од досегашниот тек на откупот на тутунот. Нашите претставници кои се распоредени на откупните пунктови немаат забележано проблеми. Просечната цена изнесува 210 денари, од кои прва класа 270 денари/кг, а втора варира од 200 до 210 денари/кг. Трета класа има во мали количини, вели Марјан Трајков, претседател на Здружението на тутунопроизводители „Басмак“ од Василево.

Иако струмичките тутунари извадиле 2.700 евидентни листови, што е за скоро 300 повеќе од лани, сепак не ја засадиле предвидената декаража. Од „Басмак“ очекуваат квалитетот на произведениот тутун да биде добар, доколку помогнат и временските прилики.

Минатата година на ниво на Македонија биле произведени 20 милиони килограми тутун. Годинава иако откупувачите планирале над 22 милиони килограми, се процентува дека ќе бидат произведени околу 18 милиони килограми тутун. Просечната откупна цена на државно ниво беше 190 денари плус субвенциите од 60 денари од килограм.

Последниве години се преполовува производството на тутун во струмичкиот регион. Од здруженијата на тутунопроизводители велат дека до неодамна ова поднебје давало по 3.000 тони тутун, последниве години е скоро двојно помал и изнесува 1.600 тони.
